LIVE: Lightning Bolt @ Valentine’s Music Hall, 3/31/11

A quick report about the Lightning Bolt show:

The show started at 8:30pm. First up was BEWARE! The Other Head of Science. They played a good set of their classic numbers and were a five-piece – missing Ryan Stewart, who was out on the road with Sgt. Dunbar. A good crowd was assembled. BEWARE! played on the upstairs mainstage, while the other bands played on the floor.

Second up was Girls of Porn, who got the crowd stirred up in a frenzy that separated the girls from the men. Unless you were up-close and dancing, there wasn’t much band to see.

Lightning Bolt set up a mirror behind them, which was really the best way to see this two-piece. The crowd was also frenzied in this spectacle.
