MASS MoCA Beer Garden to Launch Unusual Summer-Long Exhibition (Berkshire On Stage)

Somehow, in the midst of a new historic and futuristic art exhibition about workers, a beer garden will open at Mass MoCA, located along the concrete border with the Hoosac River on May 26. It is the first event of a summer project that could prove to be one of the most interesting things that has happened on that campus since its beginnings.

Beer Gardens are not that unusual, you can find them around the world, often set on the banks of a river. They have always been a favored gathering spot where both artists and “just plain folks” can gather and share a little social and intellectual interaction. And that is the whole idea.
