Last Minute Ticket Giveaway!! John Brodeur CD Release Party @ the Eighth Step at Proctors on Saturday

Longtime Nippertown music scene kingpin John Brodeur is finally firing up the hometown CD release party for his new/old album, “Tiger Pop Ten,” at 7:30pm on Saturday at the Eighth Step at Proctors in Schenectady.

The crackling, power-pop, double-CD set features Brodeur’s 2001 debut album “Tiger Pop” along with a brand new re-recording of the same album in celebration of its tenth anniversary.

Now based in NYC, Brodeur played in more bands than we have time to list during his tenure in Albany, so he knows just about every musician around town. On Saturday night, he’ll be backed up by members of Tom McWatters & the Philo Beddoe Band (who will also open the show with a set of their own) and Charmboy.

Tix are $10 in advance; $12 at the door.
