It’s the (Extra Large Holiday) Weekend!
A big thank you goes out to everyone who dropped by the website this week to add encouragement, support and, yes, criticism, too. And thanks for helping to spread the word about Nippertown.com. And we’d also like to thank everyone who sent along birthday wishes, as Nippertown.com celebrated its second anniversary this week. Yeah, that’s right, get ready for the Terrible Twos of Nippertown…
Of course, we couldn’t possibly cover the wide, wonderful scope of offerings around town without a dedicated and devoted bunch of wonderful writers, photographers, artists, tipsters and other assorted enablers who continually enrich us all with their contributions. So a big salute goes out to this week’s community contributors:
Bowtie
Matt Mac Haffie
J Hunter
Martin Benjamin
Susan Brink
Michael Seinberg
Jon N. Spector
Timothy Reidy
Gail Burns
Larry Murray
Please consider adding your name to this list. Just send us something – a review, preview, interview, photo, list, rant, crayon drawing or whatever’s on your mind. Remember, Nippertown is your hometown, and we can’t possibly do this without your help.
Thanks to the fine folks who provided us with the cool swag – tickets, CDs, free downloads and other tasty merch – to give away to our readers:
Tech Valley Times, Saratoga Springs
Thanks to all of the folks from the area venues and organizations who were gracious enough to provide us with review tickets and/or photo passes for their events:
The Linda, Albany
The Egg, Albany
Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs
Live Nation, Saratoga Springs
The Times Union Center, Albany
Thanks for keeping Nippertown alive… and lively.
What’s wrong with Cale ????? Or is this an older photo ? Poor baby.
A little rough and tumble with Shelby got a little too rough and she opened up an inch long gash on his belly. The vet had to staple it closed. I think he was more upset about being at the vet with strange people touching him than the actual wound.
He’s doing okay, although it’s hard to keep calm and not jumping around. And with the collar, he keeps bumping into everything. Poor guy.
