FESTIVAL/MUSIC: Mountain Jam @ Hunter Mountain, Hunter. Warren Haynes’ annual fest continues with performances by My Morning Jacket, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Dawes, Nicole Atkins, Civil Twilight and more. Music officially starts at 11am. Today only $89 in advance; $99 at the gate. (All fest passes also available).

MUSIC: Chrissie O’Dell & One Hot Mess @ Gaffney’s, Saratoga Springs. The Caroline Street Block Party used to take place on the first Sunday of June. Eventually it was replaced by the Caroline Street Art and Blues Festival. But that isn’t happening this year, either. So Gaffney’s comes to the rescue with “A Day of Blues.” With Tas Cru. 2pm. FREE.

THEATER: “Based On a Totally True Story” @ Russell Sage College’s James L. Meader Theater, Troy. A staged reading of Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa’s play directed by Aaron Holbritter stars Ian LaChance. 7pm. $5 suggested donation.

FESTIVAL/MUSIC: The Bluegrass Roundup @ McConchie’s Heritage Acres, Galway. Regional bluegrass fest featuring Cedar Ridge, Dyer Switch, Out Of The Valley, Warren County Ramblers. 10am-10pm. $5.

FESTIVAL/FILM: Berkshire International Film Festival @ various locations, Great Barrington and Pittsfield.

MUSIC: The Tisziji Munoz Quartet @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. Spiritual. Avant-garde. Uncompromising. The jazz guitar great hits the stage with his band featuring keyboardist John Medeski (of Medeski Martin & Wood), drummer Bob Ra-Kalam Moses and bassist Don Pate. 8pm. $18.

FILM: “Rare Beatles Footage, 1963-1970” @ Upstate Film, Rhinebeck. Presented by archivist-musician-filmmaker Bill Shelley. 1pm. $10.

MUSIC: Bryson Barnes/Jeff Nania Group @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. Jazz comes to the Caffe co-led by the trumpeter and saxophonist, respectively. 7pm. $14 in advance; $16 at the door.
