Be Here Now: Surviving The Avalanche @ Barrington Stage Company, Pittsfield 6/11-12/11 [Berkshire On Stage]

There are a lot of actors and artists who have avoided having to get real jobs by cobbling together musical theatre livelihoods that cycle between the Berkshires and Manhattan. Two of them are the songwriting team of Jeremy Desmon and Vadim Feichtner, who continue to disappoint their parents by spending their time writing songs that make us laugh and cry at the same time.

Of course the evening of cabaret, which is titled Surviving the Avalanche, also features four ridiculously talented performers, all products of Bill Finn’s ongoing Musical Theatre Lab at Barrington Stage Company. Finn is the Artistic Producer, and the show will also feature BSC’s stalwart Matt Castle as both Director and Musical Director.
