Real Good for Free: Performing Arts at the Clifton Common

The Town of Clifton Park is hosting another summer-long series of free Performing Arts at the Common concerts at the Clifton Park Common stage next to basketball courts and Shenendehowa Adult Community Center.

The concerts take place at 7pm on Sundays unless otherwise noted.

Here’s the schedule of performances:

June 26: The Clifton Park Community Chorus (an energetic, fun-loving multi-generational group singing
seasonal songs to show tunes, classic to contemporary, toe-tapping to tender, melodious and memorable)
July 3: The Electric City Horns (’50s and ’60s rock & roll, modern rock, R&B, soul and swing)
July 10: Lori McKenna. (singer-songwriter who has written for and performed with Faith Hill and Tim McGraw on their Soul2Soul tour) With Mark Erelli and Jamie Edwards.
July 15-17, 21-24: “Cinderella” (musical performed by the Clifton Park Not So Common Players)
July 31: Hungrytown (folk duo)
August 7: Work O’ the Weavers (paying musical tribute to the pioneering folk quartet)
August 14: Captain Squeeze & the Zydeco Moshers (Nippertown’s premier Cajun and zydeco band)
August 21: The New York Rock and Soul Revue (energetic eight-piece pop-rock band)
