LIVE: Todd Nelson’s TN3 @ HereFest, 9/17/11

Thirty years ago, Todd Nelson performed at the very first LarkFest, playing guitar in what was arguably Nippertown’s most popular band, the Units.

And last Saturday while LarkFest was celebrating its 30th anniversary with an estimated crowd of 80,000, Nelson and his current band TN3 – joined by special guest trumpeter John Hines – hosted their own considerably less frenzied “fest” less than a block away on Hamilton Street, where they set up and played for their own very unofficial, guerilla performance on the street.
