Festival Fever: The Local Harvest Festival @ Washington Park, 10/2/11

Yeah, it’s harvest time once again, which means that the third annual Local Harvest Festival will once again take over the Lake House at Washington Park in Albany. The fest takes place from 11am-3pm on Sunday. And admission is free.

Sponsored by Honest Weight Food Co-Op, the fest will feature more than 45 local vendors, including New World Bistro, Bettie’s Cakes, Old Chatham Sheepherding, Capital District Community Gardens, Design It Together and many others.

And, of course, it wouldn’t really be a fest withour some homegrown music to go along with the yummy stuff.

Here’s the schedule of performances for the 2011 Local Harvest Festival:

11:15am: Ben KN
12:15pm: Kid’s contra dance
1:15pm: Matthew Carefully
2:15: Olivia Quillio
