Flashback: Home @ QE2, 4/17/90

One of our all-time fave Nippertown bands, Home churns through “Clutter” in a live performance at the legendary QE2 in Albany (now the site of the Fuze Box). Featuring vocalist-guitarist Bob Lukomski, guitarist Michael Neff, bassist Robert Seals and drummer Ross Rubenstein.

Bob Lukomski returns to town tonight to premiere his new electronic composition, “Emerald Cities,” as part of the Wired Kingdom exhibition/performance of regional artists working in electronic and digital media, which is at the Arts Center of the Capital Region in Troy. The performances of “Emerald Cities,” as well as works by Rinus Van Alebeek, Julia Alsarraf, Michael Farley, Holland Hopson, Christyn Magnus and Rick O’Disko, will take place from 5-9pm tonight in conjunction with Troy Night Out. Admission is free.

Lukomski describes the work as “a new electronic composition with a sonic sculptural component, an extention/by-product of my work with multi-channel sound.”

Here’s an excerpt from Lukomski’s “Emerald Cities”:
