MUSIC: Stephane Wremble & the Django a Go-Go Festival @ The Egg, Albany. The French guitarist who wrote and performed the soundtrack for the film “Midnight in Paris,” celebrates the legacy of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli accompanied by fellow guitar virtuosos Howard Alden and Biel Ballester as well as violin masters Kyle Dillingham and John Intrator. 7:30pm. $24.

WORKSHOP: Stephane Wremble @ the College of Saint Rose’s Hearst Center, Albany. The workshop is guitar oriented, but mandolinists and other instrumentalists will gain insight as well with a focus on rhythm and improvisation: understanding the way melody works, the different structures, and how to use rhythm to build them. 3:30pm. TALK/MUSIC: Charles Neville @ the Berkshire Athenaeum, Pittsfield. The saxophone-playing Neville brother gives a talk with music, “Memphis Blues and the Chitlin’ Circuit.” 7pm. FREE.

CONCERT ON FILM: “3 Superstars in Berlin” @ Spectrum 8 Theatres, Albany. Opera superstar Anna Netrebko returns to Berlin’s stunning Waldbuhne with her husband, baritone Erwin Schrott, and star tenor Jonas Kaufman in a program that includes famous duets from “West Side Story,” “Porgy and Bess” and “Manon Lescaut,” as well as popular tango duets and arias from Mozart and Gounod. Accompanying the singers, Marco Armiliato conducts the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. 6:30pm. $15; children $12.

MUSIC: Domino Theory @ the Garage at the Colonial Theatre, Pittsfield. Rock power trio featuring Alan Lucas (bass, keys, lead vocals), guitarist Ward Woolverton and drummer Brad Greene. 9pm. $5.

FILM: “Man on a Mission: Richard Garriott’s Road to the Stars” @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. Director Mike Woolf’s documentary about private space travel pioneer Richard Garriott, who became the first son of an astronaut to go to space in ’08. From his training in Russia to his launch in Kazakhstan to the dramatic, never before seen footage inside the capsule during fiery re-entry, this is a historic moment in human space travel. 5:30pm.
