DANCE/MUSIC: Saakumu @ MASS MoCA, North Adams. Master ghili/marimba player Bernard Woma leads his spirited dance troupe in a joyous performance of music and dance from his homeland of Ghana in West Africa. TALK: “Precious and Splendid Fossils: Our Evolving Understanding of Outsider Art” @ MCLA’s Gallery 51, North Adams. Jamie Franklin, curator at the Bennington Museum, discusses outsider art in conjunction with the current exhibition “Visions from the Edge: The Artists of Pure Vision,” which is on view through Sunday, February 19. 5:30pm.
