MUSIC: “Hudson’s Finest: The Concert” @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. The culmination of a month-long youth performance workshop series focusing on the development of craft and showmanship, bringing together young adults who want to excel not only in their musical endeavors but also in the business world. Featuring Lost Cause, Dread, Sleepy, Ifetayo Cobbins, more… 7pm. $15.

THEATER: “Truth Values: One Girl’s Romp Through M.I.T.’s Male Math Maze” @ UAlbany’s Performing Arts Center, Albany. The award-winning one-woman show by writer, performer and “recovering mathematician” Gioia De Cari is a humorous and insightful tale of the challenges of being a professional woman in a male-dominated field. 7:30pm. $15; seniors $12; students $10.

TALK: “MCLA Creates!” @ MCLA’s Bowman Hall Room 204, North Adams. The first in a new series of artist talks shines a spotlight on Ginger Ertz, who captivating art work (created with the humble pipe cleaner) is currently on exhibit at such venues as MASS MoCA, the Arts Center of the Capital Region, Proctors and the Lake George Art Project’s Courthouse Gallery. 3pm. FREE.

SPORTS: Syracuse vs. Georgetown @ Junior’s, Albany. It’s the hot spot in Nippertown to catch the Orange play hoops. Tonight, it’s the classic matchup of Syracuse (#2) vs. Georgetown (#12) on the big screen from the Carrier Dome as the Big East arch rivals go toe-to-toe in their only matchup of the season. Orange fans and alumni are encouraged to attend. 7pm.

TALK: “Better Than a Thousand Words” @ EMPC at RPI, Troy. Lecture by famed physicist and cosmologist discusses the impact of images on the development of science throughout history. 6pm. FREE.
