Headliners Announced for the J.B. Scott’s Reunion…

Blotto – the merry pranksters of the Local 518 music scene back in those ’80s new wave days – will be joining the fun at the J.B. Scott’s Reunion at Michael’s Banquet House in Latham at 6pm on Saturday, May 5.
Blotto made their J.B. Scott’s debut on July 18, 1979 as the opening act for Tim Curry, and proceded to headline the Central Ave. nightclub more than 40 times often hosting such sold-out special events as the Blotto Pajama Jump, Beach Blanket Blotto, the Blotto Prom, the Blotto Valentine’s Ball and, of course, Blottoween.
“If you asked us to list our 10 most memorable gigs, at least eight would have been at J.B. Scott’s,” says drummer F. Lee Harvey Blotto, “not that we can actually remember any of them.”
Old memories will be revived and a few new ones will be made at the J.B. Scott’s Reunion, featuring performances by the Last Conspirators, the Lazers, the Penny Knight Band, the Ernie Williams Band and the Units/Fear of Strangers.
Tix for the J.B. Scott’s Reunion are priced at $33, which includes food and entertainment.

Fear of Strangers. Wow, is anyone in that lineup under 65? Pretty cool, might be one last show before shuffling off this mortal coil.
