Comedian Bill Burr steps into the spotlight at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall at 8pm on Saturday, March 31. Tix are $25, $35, $39 & $49.

There are several new shows announced this week for Northern Lights in Clifton Park, including hip-hopster Cassidy at 8:30pm on Friday, March 2 ($20 in advance; $25 at the door); Clutch at 8pm on Thursday, April 12 ($19 in advance; on sale at 10am Friday); the All American Rejects with A Rocket to the Moon at 8pm on Saturday, April 21 ($20 in advance; on sale at 10am Saturday); and the Maine with Lydia and the Arkells at 7pm on Friday, May 11 ($16 in advance; on sale at 12noon on Saturday).

Although there’s no official word yet from the folks at The Egg, the Malone Brothers – featuring Tommy Malone of the subdudes and Dave Malone of the Radiators – are slated to land at The Egg on Saturday, April 14, according to their website. Details TBA.

New shows added to the concert calendar at Club Helsinki in Hudson include the duo Avondale Airforce with guitarist Alexander Turnquist at 9pm on Friday, March 23; Mice Parade at 9pm on Friday, April 20; and Chuck Prophet & the Mission Express at 9pm on Friday, July 13.

The Bearsville Theater in Woodstock has a batch of new shows on tap including Ellen Kaye at 9pm on Friday, March 16 ($15); Jay Collins & the Kings County Band’s CD release party at 9pm on Friday, April 6 ($10) and the Farewell Drifters at 8pm on Thursday, April 12 ($15). Also, Connor Kennedy hosts Rethink Pink, recreating Pink Floyd’s 1977 In the Flesh tour featuring complete performances of “Animals” and “Wish You Were Here” at 9pm on Friday, April 20 ($15 in advance; $20 at the door).
