MUSIC: The Trapps @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. The New Paltz-based rockers fuse together folk, rock and Americana. 8pm. FREE.

MUSIC: Erin Harkes & Blaze @ McGeary’s Pub, Albany. According to last week’s Metroland Readers’ Poll, Erin Harkes is the Best Solo Musician, and McGeary’s is simply the Best Bar. So put ’em both together, and you get the best of the best. Make it a free show, and it’s even better. 7:30pm. FREE.

STORYTELLING: Storytelling Open Mic @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. Kent Busman is the featured storyteller for the night. 7pm. $3.

    Greg Haymes founded Nippertown, along with his wife Sara Ayers, in 2009. Greg was a musician, journalist, and ambassador to the Capital Region arts community. Greg passed in April of 2019, but his legacy continues.
