Prayers for Ernie Williams…

Albany’s longtime Ambassador of the Blues, Ernie Williams has been hospitalized and is in serious condition.

Williams, who celebrated his 87th birthday just last month, is scheduled to be one of the featured performers at J.B. Scott’s Reunion at Michael’s Banquet House in Latham on Saturday, May 5.

Our prayers go out to Ernie for a speedy recovery…

UPDATE (4:30pm, Wednesday, 3/21): Ernie is reportedly at St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy after suffering what is being described as “a massive heart attack.”

UPDATE (5:30pm, Wednesday, 3/21): WNYT-TV is reporting that Ernie also suffered a massive cranial bleed and has been rushed to Albany Medical Center.
