Festival Fever: A Psybient Soiree @ Kutshers Resort, 3/30-4/1/12

Yup, it’s a three-day festival of contemporary underground psychedelic music, and it won’t let up til April Fool’s Day.

A Psybient Soiree rolls into Kutshers Resort in the normally quiet Catskill town of Monticello on Friday and the non-stop action and activities continue pretty much non-stop throughout the weekend.

Highlights over the weekend are likely to include DJ sets and performances by Shpongle, Ott, Phutureprimative, Conspirator, Nadis Warriors, Bird of Prey, Brothers Past, Dopapod, the Manhattan Project and Biodiesel.

Then there’s lots of other cool stuff in addition to the music – live painting by Alex Grey, pool parties, film screenings, pajama parties and even a symposium featuring the screening of “DMT: A Spirit Molecule” with guest speaker Mitch Schulz and author/researcher Dr. Rick Strassman.

Go here for a complete schedule of events. Single day tickets are $73 on Friday and Saturday; $43 on Sunday. An all-fest three-day ticket is $170. In addition, there are a number of other ticket options available.
