IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Drake is bringing his Club Paradise tour to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs in June, featuring J. Cole, Waka Flocka Flame, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz and French Montana.

Last week we announced that the delightfully twisted Texas tunesmith (and former gubernatorial candidate) Kinky Friedman was headed into the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock for a solo show in June. And now it looks like he’ll also make a stop at The Linda in Albany at 8pm on Monday, June 18. Tix are $25. Also new on The Linda’s calendar is the annual Phil Ochs Song Night at 8pm on Saturday, May 12, featuring host Wanda Fischer with Magpie, Kim & Reggie Harris, Nancy Tucker, Kate McDonnell and Willie Nininger. Tix are $18.

Singer-songwriter-blueswoman and Clifton Park native Christine Santelli plays a homecoming concert at the Van Dyck in Schenectady at 8:30pm on Friday, April 27. The show will double as the CD release party for her new solo acoustic album, “Dragonfly,” but she’ll be brining her whole band along with her to Schenectady. Tix are $12.

NOW ON SALE: As we announced a couple of weeks ago, Kristin Hersh (co-founder of Throwing Muses) is headed into the Saratoga Arts Center for a spoken word/music performance at 7:30pm on Saturday, June 9, as part of the SaratogaArtsFest. Tix are now on sale: $10 for those with a SaratogaArtsFest ArtsPass; $15 without.

Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs has a batch of A-list shows on the horizon, including Tony Trischka & Territory at 8pm on Friday, May 4 ($24 in advance; $26 at the door); Suzy Bogguss at 7pm on Sunday, May 6 ($35 in advance; $37 at the door); the Chandler Travis Three-0 at 8pm on Friday, May 11 ($18 in advance; $20 at the door); Jon Pousette-Dart at 8pm on Saturday, May 12 ($22 in advance; $24 at the door); and Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion at 7pm on Sunday, May 20 ($18 in advance; $20 at the door).

RE-SCHEDULED: The Jefferson Starship concert at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock that was postponed from its original date of Sunday, March 18, has now been re-scheduled. The concert will take place at 9pm on Friday, June 29. Tix are $25, $35 & $50.

Veteran New England singer-songwriter Jaime Brockett steps into the spotlight at Desolation Road Studios in Altamont at 8pm on Saturday, April 7. Tix are $10.

New concerts announced for the Calvin Theater in Northampton include Michael Franti & Spearhead at 8pm on Thursday, May 31 ($35), and the Head and the Heart at 8pm on Saturday, July 28 ($22.50). Tix are both shows go on sale to the general public on Friday (March 30). Also tix are on sale now for the newly announced concert at the Calvin by O.A.R. at 8pm on Thursday, April 26 ($40).

SOLD OUT: The Avett Brothers concert at the Palace Theatre in Albany on Sunday, April 22 is now officially sold out.

The Used roll into Northern Lights in Clifton Park for a concert at 7:30pm on Sunday, May 13. Priced at $20 in advance, tix are slated to go on sale at 10am on Friday. Also new on Northern Lights’ concert calendar are British popsters the Kooks, who roll into town at 8pm on Sunday, May 27 in support of their new album, “Junk of the Heart.” On sale at 10am on Saturday, tix are $18 in advance; $20 at the door.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT, PART II: Veteran Canadian troubadour Gordon Lightfoot steps into the spotlight at the Palace Theatre in Albany in May.

Flywheel in Easthampton is hosting a benefit for Planned Parenthood at 8pm on Friday (March 30) featuring performances by Winterpills, DJ Labcoat (a Lloyd Cole side project?), the Labor Pool and Bell & Howl. Tix are $10. Also coming up at Flywheel: Jimmy Destri (of Blondie), Janet Labelle and Walking Ghosts at 7pm on Saturday, April 21 ($12); and Richard Davies (of the Moles) lands on Saturday, May 12 (details TBA).

Proctors in Schenectady welcomes Roy Orbison tribute artist Brian McCullough backed by Joey Pucci & the American Longboards at 7:30pm on Friday, April 20. The show also feature Elvis tribute aritist Peter Alden and a tribute to Ricky Nelson. Tix are $39, $59.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT, PART III: More country music… The Zac Brown Band will also be riding into the Saratoga Performing Arts Center this summer.

Chelsea Crowell – the daughter of Rodney Crowell and Rosanne Cash – is headed into the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock at 8pm on Thursday, April 5, in support of her recently released sophomore album, “Crystal City.” Admission is free.

Barefoot Truth leaps into the spotlight at Jillian’s in Albany at 8pm on Thursday, May 3. Tix are $10 in advance; $12 at the door.

BONUS: Last week we announced that Richard Thompson will be playing a concert at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock on Thursday, July 19. Upon further investigation, it’s come to our attention (a tip o’ the hat to Richard Brody) that joining him will be his son Teddy Thompson and guitar great Martin Simpson. Whoa!
