The Egg Adds Three New Concerts
The Egg in Albany has added three more new concerts to its spring calendar for May and June. Tix for the three shows are currently available to members of The Egg, and the general public on-sale date is Thursday (April 12).
LEON REDBONE
Thursday, May 31, 7:30pm, $28
Over the course of his 30-plus year career, Leon Redbone has released 15-plus albums career, continuing his on-going love affair with classic jazz tunes, flapper-era radio ditties, Depression-spawned ragtime and World War II folk-jazz – all delivered in his signature, laid-back style.
THE PSYCHEDELIC FURS
Saturday, June 2, 8pm, $28
Led by front man and songwriter Richard Butler, the Psychedelic Furs have racked up numerous hits since their 1980 debut, including “Love My Way,” “Pretty In Pink,” “Heaven,” “The Ghost In You” and “Heartbreak Beat”.
