Volbeat returns to Northern Lights in Clifton Park on Saturday, June 23. The show is slated to start at 7:30pm with Hellyeah and Iced Earth. Priced at $29.50 in advance, tix are slated to go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday (April 20). Also, the hip-hop supergroup Slaughterhouse – featuring Crooked I, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and Royce da 5’9″ – takes over the Clifton Park club at 8:30pm on Saturday, May 5. Tix are $20 in advance; $25 at the door.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Egg in Albany announced three new concerts for its fall performance season, including Four Bitchin’ Babes, avant cellist Zoe Keating and “NY Banjo” featuring Bela Fleck, Tony Trischka, Bill Keith and other five-string trailblazers.

The Bearsville Theater in Woodstock has lined up a couple of impressive new all-star concerts. Singer-songwriter-drummer Gabriel Butterfield will be paying tribute to his late father with “A Night of Paul Butterfield” at 9pm on Friday, July 13. Joining him will be Paul Butterfield Band alum Sam Lay and Chris Parker, as well as Jimmy Vivino, Pete Levin, Jimmy Eppard, Jim Curtin, Steve Guyger and the Blue Food Horns. Ticket prices TBA. Also, on Friday, May 18, Bearsville will host the third annual Woodstock Day School Soundout / Bob Dylan Birthday Celebration, featuring Happy Traum, Donald Fagen, Carl Newman, Gene Ween, Mike + Ruthy, Doug Yoell and other special guests. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: MASS MoCA in North Adams announced its 2012 summer season of performances, including upcoming concerts by Brendan Canning (of the Broken Social Scene), the Jimmies, Patrick Watson, Sweet Honey in the Rock, the Bang on a Can All-Stars, Julia Easterlin, Real Estate, Roomful of Teeth and Nation Beat

Club Helsinki in Hudson will play host to the CKS Band – a powerhouse blues-rock organ trio featuring Randy Ciarlante, Bruce Katz and Scott Sharrard – who are slated to release their debut live album this spring. The show takes place at 8pm on Sunday, May 27, and tix are $15.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The David Byrne / Fatboy Slim musical collaboration “Here Lies Love” will come to the stage as a “theatrical event” for five workshop performances at MASS MoCA in North Adams in June. Tix are slated to go on sale on Friday.

Orleans Trio – an acoustic group that features original Orleans band members Lance and Larry Hoppen, along with Dennis “Fly” Amero – will new tunes and unplugged Orleans classic hits at the Wood Theater in Glens Falls at 8pm on Saturday, September 1. Priced at $45.50, tix are slated to go on sale to the general public on Tuesday (April 24).
