Win FREE TIX to Max Creek’s 41st Anniversary Creekend in Lake George, 4/27-28/12
41 years together is a loooong time. It’s also a damn good reason to celebrate…
So on Friday and Saturday nights (April 27 & 28), veteran jam band Max Creek is taking over the Fort William Henry Hotel and Conference Center in Lake George. They’re dubbing the two-night stand the Max Creek 41st Anniversary Creekend, and the band is slated to perform inside the hotel’s Towers Hall both nights.
Doors open at 8pm both nights. Capital Zen is slated to open Friday’s show, while the Rev Tor Band will have the opening honors on Saturday night.
Nippertown favorites the Stone Revival Band – featuring moe. drummer Vinnie Amico – will add to the weekend’s festivities with an outdoor show on the hotel lawn at 2pm on Saturday. Various craft and food vendors will also be on site throughout the weekend, in addition to a charity food drive.
The weekend-long shindig is being co-produced by Guthrie Bell Productions and Lake George promoter Dave Ehmann, the man behind Improv Records’ Kamp David Saturday Music Summits, the free weekly summertime concert series in Shepard Park in Lake George. All proceeds from the Creekend will be funneled back into Lake George’s local community and music scene.
Tix are $25 per night or $40.00 for an all-weekend ticket and are currently available here.
BUT WAIT… Have we got a deal for you! We’re giving away A PAIR OF FREE TIX to the show to one lucky Nippertown reader! The tix are good for either Friday or Saturday night’s show. Happy 41st Creekaversary guys. Have Loved Max Creek almost as long as I have been a deadhead. Heres to many more years of Back Porch Boogie Blues. Will be there for one if not both nights.
I saw Max Creek at Gathering of the Vibes a few years ago and they held their own against the nationally known bands. Would love to see them again.
YAY!!! this sounds so much fun. Thinking about heading out with the husband and little one. What a great spot too!!!
