Great New Concert at the Palace Theatre!
Wow, here’s a knockout double-bill that brightens up the summer concert scene…
The Palace Theatre in Albany has announced that sublime singer-songwriter John Prine and Americana queen Lucinda Williams are teaming up for a double-bill at 8pm on Friday, August 17.
Priced at $47, $57 & $67, tix are slated to go on sale at 10am on Friday, May 18.

I’m beginning to not recognize this city I have lived in. The music scene in the past few months has made me start to think I’m going to have to start budgeting for music tickets because of all the great local shows I”m going to. (I include Ommegang in this as that is a great venue and they seem to really be taking off). So in the next several months I will go see shows at Ommegang, SPAC, the Palace and the Egg. Oh, and let’s not forget The Wall at the Pepperbocker. Never happened before in such a short period of time. Let’s hope it’s not a fluke.
