Be Here Now: The Belleayre Music Festival, Highmount

The Belleayre Music Festival brings a diverse array of concerts and other performances to Belleayre Mountain at Highmount once again this summer.

Except where noted below, ticket prices are $36, $46, $56 & $66; lawn $25.

Saturday, July 7, 8pm: The Spinners (Philly soulsters)

Saturday, July 14, 8pm: Josh Turner (country hitmaker)

Saturday, July 21, 8pm: Christine Ebersole (Tony Award winner)

Saturday, July 28, 8pm: Donal Westwood’s Belleayre Festival Opera production of “La Boheme” (starring Diana McVey as Mimi)

Friday, August 3, 8pm: The Ed Palermo Big Band (big band interpretations of solo Frank Zappa and Mothers of Invention repertoire). Tix are $26.

Saturday, August 4, 8pm: M.F. Production’s “Celebration of Lionel Hampton” (featuring vibraphonist Jason Marsalis and vocalist-pianist Dianne Schurr). Tix are $36, $46 & $56; lawn $25.

Friday, August 10, 8pm: Stefon Harris & Blackout (master jazz vibraphonist and Albany native). Tix are $26.

Saturday, August 11, 8pm: The Pat Metheny Unity Band (with Chris Potter, Antonio Sanchez and Ben Williams)

Saturday, August 18, 8pm: The Texas Tenors (vocal sensations from “America’s Got Talent”)

Saturday, August 25, 8pm: Susie Essman (the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star brings comedy to the Catskills)

Saturday, September 1, 8pm: “Music of Led Zeppelin: A Rock Symphony” (the Belleayre Festival Orchestra featuring guest conductor Brent Havens, vocalist Randy Jackson [of Zebra] and his band)
