Festival Fever: Clearwater’s Great Hudson River Revival, 6/16-17/12

The two-day Clearwater Great Hudson River Revival festival returns to Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hudson on Saturday and Sunday, June 16-17, and to tell you the truth, there’s so much great music going on there that we’re not quite sure where to even begin.
How about Arlo Guthrie & the Guthrie Family with a very special centennial tribute to Woody Guthrie? Or maybe the super soul-soaked match-up of Joan Osborne and the Holmes Brothers performing together? Or perhaps it’s the Sunday string of performances by Alejandro Escovedo, Jill Sobule and Deer Tick, none of which are even on the main stage?
Yeah, the annual Clearwater fest has got a grand and eclectic line-up of performers who will keep seven stages hopping from 11am til 9pm both days.
Single day ticket prices are $75 in advance; $85 at the gate; Weekend passes are $120 in advance; $150 at the gate; weekend passes with camping are $200. There’s a 15% discount on all festival tickets for seniors, students and disabled persons. Children 12 and under are free with an adult.

I can’t believe you didn’t mention Aoife O’donovan! She deserves more than being relegated to the “lots more” category!
RE: Jon B.: As do such fab folks as David Amram, Sharon Katz, Peter Yarrow and “lots more.” Thanks for stepping up to cheerlead for Aoife!
