MUSIC: The Chandler Travis Three-O @ the Lion’s Den at the Red Lion Inn, Stockbridge. Yes, they’re back for more musical merriment… 8pm. FREE.

MUSIC: Tim O’Brien @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. He’s released more than a dozen solo albums, including his Grammy Award-winning “Fiddler’s Green.” He’s played with Steve Martin, the Chieftains and Mark Knopfler. And his songs have been recorded by the Dixie Chicks, Garth Brooks, Dierks Bentley, Nickel Creek, Kathy Mattea and many more. 6:30 & 9pm. $28 in advance; $30 at the door.

MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: “Across the Great Divide: A Tribute to Levon Helm and the Band” @ Valentine’s Music Hall, Albany. Rob Beaulieu is the music director and his band the Stone Revival Band will serve as the house band for the benefit concert for the American Cancer Society. Among the musicians who will lend their talents to the performance are Vinnie Amico (moe.), Brian Mangini (Ominous Seapods), Chris Fisher (Conehead Buddha), Joe Daley (Super 400), Gene Sennes (The Decadent Royals), Jeff Nania (the Chronicles), Phil Chow (the Chronicles), Thomas Lafond (Sunnyside of the Street Band), Chas Ploss, Dan Johnson (Dan Johnson & His Expert Sidemen), Josh Farrell (HipDrop), MotherJudge, Kim Buckley, Ted Grey (Raisinhead), Rick Annen (the Good Earth), Pete O’Harn (Dr. Jah & the Love Prophets), Michael Eck (Ramblin Jug Stompers) and Eric Margan (Sunnyside of the Street Band). 9pm. $10.

MUSIC: Professor Louie & the Crowmatix @ the Bearsville Theater, Woodstock. The Professor produced the last batch of albums by the Band, and he puts what he learned to good use on PL&C’s brand new album, “Wings On Fire,” which features a cover of the Band’s “4% Pantomime.” With Mr. Roper. 9pm. $15.

FILM: “Patience (After Sebald)” @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. Grant Gee’s richly textured offers a unique exploration of the work and influence of internationally acclaimed writer W.G. Sebald. 5:30pm. $7; students $5.
