Real Good for FREE: Garage Bands in the Garage @ Albany Public Library

Garage Bands in the Garage concerts are back!

The Garage Bands in the Garage concert series returns to the Albany Public Library once again this summer for a monthly blast of free music to help you get your ya-ya’s out after work on Fridays.

Each all-ages show features a double-bill of homegrown bands playing in the garage of the Main Library (accessed via the Elk Street parking lot entrance). All shows run from 6-8pm on select Friday evenings and also feature a CD/DVD garage sale chockfull of $1 items.

The 2012 line-up for the library’s Garage Bands in the Garage concert series includes:

June 22: The Blisterz. With the Mysteios.

July 20: The Slaughterhouse Chorus. With the Pistolwhips.

August 17: Henry’s Rifle. With Complicated Shirt.

September 21: Alta Mira. With Giles Bennett & the Petrified Woods.
