Real Good for FREE: Voorheesville Public Library’s Together at Twilight Concert Series
The Voorheesville Public Library is once again presenting its free Together at Twilight concert series this summer.
The concerts take place on the lawn at the library at 6:30pm on Wednesdays, beginning tonight (Wednesday, July 11) with the world music threesome GeoTrio. In case of rain, the concerts will move indoors to the library’s Community Room.
Here’s the schedule for the 2012 summer season:
TONIGHT (JULY 11)
GeoTrio
The Caribbean world music trio features guitarist Crispin Catricala, vibraphonist Dave Casner and percussion master Brian Melick in a family friendly concert that will have everyone clapping their hands and swaying to the jazzy beat.
JULY 25
Lost Radio Rounders
The vintage acoustic folk duo of Tom Lindsey and Michael Eck presents “Wildwood Flower: Songs of the Original Carter Family.”
AUGUST 8
Captain Squeeze & the Zydeco Moshers
Greg Speck (aka, Captain Squeeze) leads his band through an evening of lively Cajun and zydeco music from Louisiana.
