MUSIC: Matuto @ the Music Haven Stage in Schenectady’s Central Park. Latin rhythms, bluegrass hoedowns, jazz sizzle and Brazilian sambas all swirled together into a cross-cultural global gumbo of intoxicating sound. With the Bernstein Bard Quartet. 7pm. FREE.

FESTIVAL/MUSIC: Green River Festival @ Greenfield Community College, Greenfield. It’s Day Two of the two-day fest. Today’s featured performers on three stages include Richard Thompson, Ozomatli, Martin Simpson, CJ Chenier, Rubblebucket, Winterpills, Brown Bird and lots more. Music from 12:30-8pm.

FESTIVAL/MUSIC/FOOD: Troy Pig Out @ Riverfront Park, Troy. It’s Day Two of the two-day fest of barbecue and blues, ribs and rockin’. The fest runs from 11am-4pm. Sampling throughout the afternoon.
