Win FREE TIX to New York City Ballet’s “Romeo & Juliet” @ SPAC on Wednesday

The New York City Ballet is back for the second week of its summer residency at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.

But the ballet is in trouble at SPAC. Next year, there won’t even be a second week to the Saratoga ballet season. What originally began as a month-long summer season will dwindle to just a single week next year, due to financial concerns.

So the best way to show your support for the ballet is simply with your attendance. If you’re a regular – or even occasional ballet-goer – then you already know how glorious the performances are.

But maybe you only know about ballet from movies, whether it’s “Red Shoes” or “Black Swan.” If you’ve never seen the NYC Ballet live at SPAC, well, now is the time to check it out and see what you’ve been missing.

And we’d like to make it as easy as possible for you, so Nippertown is giving away a pair of FREE LAWN TICKETS to see the NYC Ballet in action on Wednesday night (July 18). Beginning at 8pm, the company will be performing the classic love story “Romeo & Juliet.”

To make it even more entertaining, Wednesday evening at SPAC is also Girls Night Out with a pre-performance party at 6pm that includes complimentary massages, mini mani-pedis, yoga, make-up consultations, hair blowouts, nutrition advice, tarot card reading, palm reading, complimentary fine wine, chocolate tastings and more.

To enter the contest to win a FREE PAIR OF TIX for the full Wednesday evening at SPAC, just post a comment below. Please leave your email address, too. We won’t publish it, but we’ll use it to contact you if you win. The winner will be selected at random and notified on Wednesday morning. Enter today! Good luck! Congratulations to the winner, who has been notified by email.

Ballet is really an amazing form of dance. They work their butts off to produce that grace and precision. I have never seen like professional ballet, and it would be fantastic to get that chance.

Almost over and it just started.

I’ve never been, but would love to go! 🙂

My family has always loved the ballet! It would be a shame to have it disappear from SPAC’s lineup.
