Festival Fever: moe.down @ Snow Ridge Ski Resort, 8/10-12/12

After spending the past two years at the Gelston Castle Estates in Mohawk, jam band faves moe. are bringing their annual moe.down festival back to Snow Ridge Ski Resort in Turin this weekend.

The three-day fest kicks off on Friday (August 10) and will feature a wide array of bands, including Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Galactic featuring Corey Glover (of Living Colour), the North Mississippi Allstars Duo, the Wood Brothers, Umphrey’s McGee (with guest guitarist Stanley Jordan sitting in), Marco Benevento, Kyle Hollingsworth (of String Cheese Incident), SOJA and many, many more.

The revolving cast of the Everyone Orchestra will showcase the talents of founder/conductor Matt Butler, guitarist Steve Kimock, bassist Andy Hess, drummer Jeff Sipe and more.

And moe.down will continue its history of introducing new bands to their fans with Bright Light Social Hour, JC Brooks & the Uptown Sound, Infantree, Leroy Justice and a healthy mix of young local upstate New York bands like Aqueos and Nippertown’s own Timbre Coup.

Of course, moe. will be the fest’s headlining attraction, playing six sets over the course of the weekend.

Three-day, all-festival tix are currently available for $145, which includes camping. Single day tix for Sunday only are now available for $60.
