MUSIC: The Philadelphia Orchestra @ Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Springs. Virtuoso pianist Lang Lang joins the orchestra and conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin for a program that includes Brahms’ Hungarian Dances and Symphony No. 4, as well as Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 1. 8pm.
MUSIC: The Ernie Williams Band @ Shepard Park, Lake George. An evening of the blues in tribute to the late Ernie Williams featuring Joe Mele, Mike Kelley, Steve Aldi, Rocky Petrocelli, Charlie Vatalaro and Mark Emanatian. With Street Corner Holler. 7:30pm. FREE.

At 8pm Trey McIntyre Project returns to the Ted Shawn Theatre with its winning brand of contemporary ballet including a new work based on the seminal 1970s series “Free to Be…You and Me.” And at 8:15pm in the Doris Duke Theater, John Heginbotham, an acclaimed Mark Morris Dance Group performer, dances with his own company Dance Heginbotham in lively, witty works.
