Jazz Up Your Weekend
There are an awful lot of festivals stacked up this weekend, including moe.down at Snow Ridge Ski Resort in Turin; WordXWord Festival in Pittsfield; and the Hudson Music Festival, the Basilica Music Festival and Blues, Brews & BBQ Festival, all in Hudson.
And if you’re a jazz fan, you can put together your own festival this weekend, but you’d better gas up before you head out ’cause there’s some driving involved.

And if you’re a jazz fan who wants to treat your eyes as well as your ears, you might want to swing by the Good Purpose Gallery in Lee to check out, Paul Solovay’s “All That Jazz,” a dynamic photography exhibit of jazz musicians in concert. The opening reception takes place from 6-8pm on Saturday (August 11), and the exhibit will remain on view through Monday, September 17.
