Rest Fest: The Official Schedule of Bands
For the past two years, the Restoration Festival – aka, Rest Fest, the Restoration Funstival – has been quite simply the premiere Local 518 music event, and for their third annual bash, they’ve upped the ante by expanding to three days, adding a bunch of cool national bands and promising (as best they can) that no hurricanes will be roaring into town to mess up things up.
The fest is scheduled for Friday-Sunday, September 7-9, and once again, it’s taking place at the former St. Joseph’s Church in Albany. A portion of the proceeds from the fest will go to the Historic Albany Foundation for the restoration and preservation of the beautiful, historic downtown Albany building.
While the final roster of bands was announced last week, the fab folks from B3nson Recording Company – who pour a lot of blood, sweat and beer into organizing and over-seeing the fest – have now announced the schedule of performances.
Single-day tix are $20 for Friday and Sunday; $30 for Saturday. Or you can snag an all-fest three-day pass for $40 if you purchase by Saturday, September 1; three-day tix will be $50 thereafter. Children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult. NOTE: There are no extra service charges, handling charges or other hidden fees tacked onto the Rest Fest ticket prices.
We here at Nippertown heartily recommend that you spend as much of your time at the fest as possible over the course of the three glorious, music-filled days, but if there are certain bands that you’ve just got to see play, the schedule below should give you a pretty good idea of just when that’s gonna happen.
