The Hudson Valley Artists Hurricane Relief Project is a non-profit collective of some of the Hudson Valley’s most illustrious and talented musicians who came together last year for the sole purpose of raising money to help the thousands of people that are still struggling to recover and rebuild their lives in the devastating aftermath of the 2011 Hurricane Irene.

More than a year later, the Hudson Valley Artists Hurricane Relief Project is still helping out those in need. And this time around, it’s those who are suffering in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.

On Sunday evening (November 11), the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock is hosting the Hudson Valley Artists Hurricane Sandy Relief Concert and all proceeds will go directly to the New York Chapter of the Red Cross and the Family of Woodstock. The doors open at 6pm with a silent auction and acoustic performances. Emceed by Studio Stu, the main stage performances begin at 7pm and featuring the Five Points Band, David Malachowski & the Woodstock All Stars, John Sebastian, Tracy Bonham & Jerry Marotta, David Kraai & Amy Laber, Danny Louis (Gov’t Mule), Machan Taylor & Randy Ciarlante with Phelonious Phunk Phriends and more.

And, of course, Woodstock being Woodstock, you never know who else might drop by to join in the effort…

Tix are $20 in advance; $25 at the door; additional donations are welcome.
