Hot New Concert Announced for MASS MoCA

Jeff Mangum – the singer and primary songwriter for the legendary band Neutral Milk Hotel – has scheduled a major U.S. tour, and the road trip is currently slated to conclude with a concert at MASS MoCA’s Hunter Center in North Adams on Saturday, February 16.

The posting on Neutral Milk Hotel’s website reads, “hello friends in a flock of finches unfolding from the face of a foam horse on the phone toinform you that jeff is heading out for one last u.s. acoustic tour, giving him the chance to play to all the silver citizens dwelling in citys that he has yet to sing in.”

Opening the show will be the Music Tapes and Tall Firs.

Priced at $26, tickets are scheduled to go on sale at 12noon on Thursday (November 15). UPDATE: New ticket price is $29.
