THEATER: “This Wonderful Life” @ Capital Repertory Theatre, Albany. It’s opening night for the stage adaptation of the film classic “It’s a Wonderful Life.” Directed by Maggie Mancinelli-Cahill. 7:30pm. $20, $30, $40 & $50. Through Saturday, December 22.

MUSIC: Tintinnabulate Harmonica Band @ Upstate Artists Guild, Albany. Pauline Oliveros leads the adventurous nine-piece band. With Zovi and Mensheviks. 8pm. $5.

MUSIC: Set It Off @ the Upstate Concert Hall, Clifton Park. In support of their full-length debut album, Cinematics. Co-headlining with Sparks the Rescue. Also with Handguns, Heart Foundation, Louder Now and Step.Back.Eleven. 7pm. $12.
