The book was researched and written by former Nippertonian Michael Corcoran, one of Albany’s best and controversial music writers during the early ’80s, when he published The Albany Lark – a short-lived humor, music, pop culture ‘zine – and also wrote for some of the Local 518’s more respectable publications.

    Michael Eck and I would not mind getting this book from Santa, and Mr. Eck and I would also suggest giving the Carter family graphic novel to your favorite roots musician (we both have it & love it.)
