MUSIC: “Lungs for Lisa” @ the Moon & River Cafe, Schenectady. An all-acoustic benefit for Lisa Palmateer of Clifton Park, who suffers from a rare and lung disease. Performers include Amy Ryan & Paco, Missing Link, Stephen Smith and Zachary Edwards. 7pm. $10 suggested donation.

MUSIC: Brian Patneaude Duo @ the Stockade Inn, Schenectady. 6pm. FREE.

READING: Tess Lecuyer @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. Poetry open mic night. Featured readers are Tess Lecuyer and Cheryl Rice. 7pm. $5.

MUSIC: The Deadbeats @ Valentine’s Music Hall, Albany. 10pm.

    Greg Haymes founded Nippertown, along with his wife Sara Ayers, in 2009. Greg was a musician, journalist, and ambassador to the Capital Region arts community. Greg passed in April of 2019, but his legacy continues.
