Benefit Concert for Mike Dunn
Mike Dunn was one of the most respected bassists on the Hudson Valley music scene, and many fans in the Capital Region perhaps knew him best from his tenure with the Ernie Williams Band.
Mike passed away earlier this month, and now on Saturday night (February 2), many of his friends and bandmates are getting together to play a benefit concert for Mike’s family.
A Tribute to Michael Dunn will be held at 7pm on Saturday (February 2) at the Quarter Moon Cafe in Delhi. Several bands that Mike anchored, including the Scoville Junkies and the Road Dogs, will perform the music that was created with his considerable talents. Confirmed artists at this time are Zonder Kennedy, George Kilby Jr, Brian Shafer, Sam Doyle, Jimmy Eppard, Charlie Kniceley, Bill Kelly, Neil Thomas and Jake Rostboll.
Suggested minimum donation of $10 is requested at the door. 100% of the beer sales money will also be donated contributed to Mike’s family.
Come hear some great tunes for an even better cause, and chase away those winter-time blues.
