Lost Radio Rounders Launch Their Annual Charity Concert Series on Friday

Lost Radio Rounders kick off their annual charity concert series at the McKownville United Methodist Church in Albany on Friday (February 15).

The first concert in the series is “Farther Along: Gospel Music from the Folk Boom,” a benefit for the Gloversville family of Isabelle “Baby Izzy” Sherman as they continue to deal with the effects of their daughter’s devastating Mitochondrial Disease.

Special guests Joe Gumpper (on fiddle) and Amaal Yehia (vocals). The concert begins at 7pm; admission is free, although donations are encouraged.

PS: You can also catch Lost Radio Rounders in action this week at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall for the free Music @ Noon concert series at 12noon on Tuesday (February 12), when they’ll be performing selections from Carl Sandburg’s “The American Songbag.” And on Saturday (February 16), they’ll be performing twice as part of the Dance Flurry Festival in Saratoga Springs – 2:45pm at Caffe Lena and 4:30pm at the Saratoga Hilton’s High Rock Room.
