LIVE: Dead Cat Bounce @ Proctors’ GE Theatre, 3/9/13

The NYC Party Horns concert series kicked off its third season at Proctors in Schenectady with the return of Dead Cat Bounce to the GE Theatre on Saturday night. Saxophonist and Schenectady native Matt Steckler led his four-horn sextet through a pair of sets of original music that was brimming over with complex grooves, a rainbow of tonal colors and adventurous collective improvisations.

The concert series continues at Proctors on Friday, April 12 with Afroskull and closes with trombonist Josh Roseman and his band on Saturday, May 25. Tickets are $15 for each show.
