Win FREE TICKETS to Railbird at Valentine’s on Saturday!
Vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Sarah Pedinotti and her band Railbird have been on quite a roll during recent months…
Last November at Valentine’s Music Hall, Railbird celebrated the release of their latest EP Lucky, featuring guest vocals from Anti- recording artist Sean Rowe and Phantogram’s Sarah Barthel. Their single “Mirrors” has been remixed by School of Seven Bells. And Railbird also just finished up a busy week in L.A. supporting Rowe as his backing band – on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” on KCRW’s influential radio show “Morning Becomes Eclectic” and at the legendary nightclub, the Troubadour.
Originally formed in Saratoga Springs but now based in Brooklyn, Railbird plays something of a homecoming show at 9pm on Saturday (March 16) when they return to Valentine’s Music Hall in Albany. Opening the show for Railbird will be a showcase of artists on the Sub-Bomin Records label, including Kite Person (who released their debit EP Tonight We Run in December), Mitochi (who dropped his new track “Whatchu Talkin’ Bout Willis” just last week) and Rawhead (the project of Michael Okon, co-founder of Sub-Bombin Records).
Tickets for Saturday’s performance at Valentine’s are $5 in advance; $7 at the door.
BUT WAIT… there’s more. We’re giving away a pair of FREE TICKETS for Railbird to a lucky Nippertown reader! To enter the contest, just post a comment below. Please leave your email address, too.
