Festival Fever: MOVE Music Festival, 4/27/13

Move Music Festival 2013

Last month, the organizers of the MOVE Music Festival announced 50 bands that would be performing at the second annual Albany rock fest, but that was only half of the roster. Now the MOVE folks have unveiled the complete line-up of bands – 108 of ’em in all.

There have been some other changes as well. While last year’s fest primarily took place at venues on Broadway and Pearl Street, it appears that this year MMF will have a larger geographic footprint, extending to such uptown venues as the Fuze Box and Valentine’s Music Hall. The MMF website now lists 11 venues, although Bogie’s (which had formerly been listed as a participating venue) is no longer among them.

And while this year’s fest was initially announced as a two-day affair, it seems as though it has now been pared back to a single day, beginning at 3pm on Saturday, April 27. $15 wristbands are currently available, allowing access to all of the fest’s venues.

  1. Tim says

I guess I will get less bands with less hours of festival.

  2. Stanley Johnson says

Apparently if you want to see more, you gotta move. (Oh, now I get it.)
