The four-day fest takes place from Thursday-Sunday, July 18-21, and as usual the Dry Branch Fire Squad will act as the fest’s host band, performing on all four days.

The initial rounds of band announcements including many of bluegrass music’s finest musicians, including the Del McCoury Band and its off-shoot the Travelin’ McCourys, the reigning International Bluegrass Music Associations’s Entertainers of the Year the Gibson Brothers, veteran banjo master Bill Keith, dobro virtuoso Jerry Douglas, black stringband torchbearers the Carolina Chocolate Drops and many, many more.

You left the Solid Sound Festival at Mass MOCA off the festival list. I think it’s one of my favorite festivals. Great music, great venue great crowd and totally awesome Wilco!

  2. Fred says

Great, but I hate the fact that this one always coincides with Green River Festival!
