Albany Tulip Festival: Complete Line-up of Bands

100,000 tulips can’t be wrong…

The 65th annual Tulip Festival takes over Albany’s Washington Park on Friday & Saturday, May 11 & 12, and Mayor Jerry Jennings announced the details today at City Hall, including the line-up of performers at the free fest.

Here’s the complete list of bands and performance times:

SATURDAY, MAY 11
PARADE GROUNDS
1pm – Royal Teeth: Louisiana-based indie dance-popsters
2:30pm – The Features: Nashville-based indie rock quartet
4pm – Silversun Pickups: The LA alt-rockers roar into town in support of their latest album, Neck of the Woods. The band was most recently in town to play the Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park in October.

LAKEHOUSE STAGE
1pm – Tor & the Fjords: Featuring indie-pop singer-songwriter Tor Loney.
2:15pm – Olivia Quillio: The barefoot uke-strumming folk-popster
3:30pm – Rick Rourke & Lost Wages: Roots rockers showcasing songs from their new CD, Three Sides to Every Story
4:45pm – Bryan Thomas: Simply the best singer-songwriter in this town.

SUNDAY, MAY 12
PARADE GROUNDS
1:30pm – Grand Central Station: Local 518 faves
3:30pm – Benny & the Jets: Elton John tribute band

LAKEHOUSE STAGE
1pm – Annie & the Hedonists: Led by Annie Rosen’s powerhouse vocals, the Hedonists cover a wildly eclectic mix of acoustic blues, vintage jazz, folk roots and more.
2:15pm – MaryLeigh & the Fauves: Crisp folk-rock and alt-pop from singer-songwriter-guitarist MaryLeigh Roohan and her all-star band
3:30pm – The Dylan Perrillo Orchestra: Featuring a who’s who of up-and-coming Local 518 jazz talent
4:45pm – Eastbound Jesus: One of the most exciting bands in town, EBJ fires up a high-energy blend of rock, bluegrass and country in support of their upcoming new album Northern Rock.
