Greg Haymes founded Nippertown, along with his wife Sara Ayers, in 2009. Greg was a musician, journalist, and ambassador to the Capital Region arts community. Greg passed in April of 2019, but his legacy continues.

It’s cool that Jimi worked in some of his classic theatrics, even in a backing role — like sliding his right hand across the top of the neck, etc. It’s too bad he wasn’t the one out in front yet. I wonder if that’s what the big-band music stands were for … to create a wall between the backing band and the guys up front: What were their names again?
