NYC’s Leroy Justice has got the goods – indie cred, Americana roots, soulful musicianship and plenty of bold bluesy swagger. That much was clear from their area shows last year at The Egg (opening for Big Head Todd & the Monsters) and moe.down.

Now the band is taking it to the next level. They’re headed back to town in support of their brand new major label debut and potential career breakthrough album, Above the Weather. Front man Jason Gallagher leads the band into the Bayou Cafe in Albany on Friday night (May 3).

And as it turns out, the evening will be all about meteorology with Central New York’s up-and-coming five-piece jam band Project Weather Machine are slated to open the show at 9:30pm.

Tickets are $10 in advance; $12 at the door.
