Real Good for FREE: Garage Bands in the Garage @ Albany Public Library

Your local public library offers you more books than you could ever possibly read in a lifetime. And since just about all of the video stores have disappeared by now, your library covers that end of your entertainment spectrum, too.

But what you might not realize is that the Albany Public Library is also a pretty damn fine music venue.

Back again for a another summer season is the Garage Bands in the Garage free concert series, held in the garage at the rear of the Washington Avenue main branch of the Albany Public Library.

The monthly concerts take place at 6pm on the third Friday of the month between now and September, and they’ve got some mighty fine bands lined up to play for you this year.
