Real Good for FREE: Made in the Shade of The Egg

The Egg in Albany is celebrating its 35th anniversary this season, and the celebration includes the launch of the new free “Made in the Shade of The Egg” summer performance series. The lunchtime concerts will take place outdoors on the Empire State Plaza near The Egg, featuring a diverse range of performing arts from traditional jazz to contemporary ballet to flamenco guitar.

All performances will be held at 12noon on Wednesdays through August 7, in conjunction with the Farmers Market hosted by the NYS Office of General Services.

The series kicks off on Wednesday (June 26) with a performance by the Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company, The Egg’s resident dance group.
